Delete your CrowdUp account
You can delete your CrowdUp account and its data at any time. Deleting is permanent and can’t be undone.
Delete in the app
- Open CrowdUp and go to the Profile tab.
- Tap the settings icon at the top right.
- Tap Delete my account.
- Read what will be deleted, type DELETE and tap Delete my account permanently.
Your account is deleted straight away and you’re signed out.
Delete without the app
If you no longer have the app, email digitalappmarket@gmail.com from the email address you use for CrowdUp, with the subject “Delete my account”. We’ll confirm it’s you and delete the account within 30 days, then reply to let you know.
What is deleted
- Your profile: name, email address, photo, town and interests.
- Meetings you host, including their invitations and ratings. Their guests are no longer able to see them.
- Your invitations and answers, who you follow and who follows you.
- Ratings you gave, and your host rating, event rating, reliability and host record.
- Your credits, milestones and recent places.
- Your profile photo and the event cover photos you uploaded.
- Your notification settings and the notification tokens for your phones.
- Reports you made and the members you blocked.
- If you signed in with Apple, we also end CrowdUp’s access to your Apple Account. You can check this on your iPhone in Settings → your name → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple.
Nothing is kept, apart from anything the law requires us to keep. Copies in our providers’ secure backups are removed automatically within 30 days.
Delete some data without deleting your account
You can remove some information yourself at any time: change or remove your profile photo, town and interests in the app, and delete meetings you host. To ask us to delete other specific data, such as your recent places or ratings you gave, email digitalappmarket@gmail.com from your account’s email address. We’ll do it within 30 days.
Premium subscriptions
Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a Premium subscription, because the app store handles billing. Cancel it first: on Android in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions; on iPhone in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. See our Subscription Terms.
